I giovani orchestrali eseguiranno musiche di Verdi, Gershwin, Galante, Swerts ed Appermont.
L'evento fa parte del circuito F.O.G. Festival delle Orchestre Giovanili ed è organizzato insieme al Comune di Buggiano e Visit Buggiano.

Junge Blaeserphilharmonie Ulm
The youth wind orchestra "Ulm Boys’ Band” (Ulmer Knabenmusik) was founded in 1961, since girls have started to play in the orchestra (from 2002), the wind band got the name of Junge Blaeserphilharmonie Ulm (JBU). The orchestra has performed in TV programs several times, and The Band won many first prizes: at the World Youth Music festival in Zurich in 1985, in Hamar/Norway in 1987 at the Goteborg Music Festival/Sweden in 1990 and 1992 and at the International Eissteddfod in Stellenbosch/South Africa (Endler Hall) in 1999 reflect outstanding success. Since than, the orchestra won more important prizes in different years: in 2008, Junge Blaeserphilharmonie Ulm won the German Orchestra Contest in Wuppertal in their category and came second in Hildesheim in 2012 and in Ulm in 2016. Concert tours took JBU to USA in 1997 and to South Africa in 1999. A performance at Sydney Opera House was the highlight of the 2002 trip to Australia. Trips to Hungary and Italy followed in 2004 and 2005, China in 2006 and 2014, Spain in 2019, among other great locations.
L’orchestra di fiati Ulm Boys Band viene fondata nel 1961 per soli ragazzi, ma dal 2002 partecipano anche le ragazze, così il nome diventa Junge Blaeserphilharmonie Ulm (JBU). L’orchestra si è esibita in diversi programmi televisivi e la Wind Band ha vinto molti primi premi importanti: al World Youth Music festival a Zurigo nel 1985, Hamar/Norway nel1987, al Goteborg Music Festival in Svezia nel 1990 e 1992 e all’International Eissteddfod in Stellenbosch/South Africa (Endler Hall) nel 1999. Successivamente l’orchestra ha vinto ancora molti premi e ha raggiunto dei punteggi alti in diversi festival e contest. La Ulm ha fatto molte tournée all’estero, in Sud Africa, Cina, Spagna, Australia e USA, riscuotendo sempre un grande successo.
Josef Christ Direttore
From 1988 to 1996 Josef Christ worked as a clarinet and bass clarinet player for Ulm Philharmonic Orchestra/Opera Ulm. Since 1996 he has been the conductor of the youth orchestra Junge Blaeserphilharmonie Ulm and also conducted the Ulm/Alb-Donau District Youth Wind Orchestra (Kreisverbandsjugendblasorchester) from 2004-2014. He studied wind orchestra conducting at Augsburg-Nuremberg College of Music. In 2008 he completed his course of studies with Alex Schillings in the Netherlands, further enhancing his skills. Furthermore, he gained valuable stimuli from Tim Reynish (GB), László Marosi (Hungary), José Pascual-Vilaplana (Spain) and Eugene Corporon (USA). Following the German 2008 Orchestra Contest he was awarded a conductor’s grant by the German Council of Music.
Dal 1988 al 1996 Josef Christ ha lavorato come clarinettista e clarinettista basso nella Ulm Philharmonic Orchestra/Opera Ulm, dal 1996 è il direttore dell’orchestra giovanile Junge Blaeserphilharmonie Ulm e della Ulm/Alb-Donau District Youth Wind Orchestra (Kreisverbandsjugendblasorchester) dal 2004 al 2014. Ha studiato direzione d’orchestra al Augsburg-Nuremberg College of Musica, e nel 2008 ha arricchito e completato i suoi studi in Olanda. Ha seguito corsi con Tim Reynish (GB), László Marosi (Hungary), José Pascual-Vilaplana (Spain) e Eugene Corporon (USA).
